The Sixties Roadshow

Dusty Miller - A legend in her own time -  Friend and confidant to multitudes. An ex policewoman. Still  active as a Volunteer Chaplain at the James Paget Hospital here in Gorleston having joined in 1982.  Also involved with fellow Chaplain friend of many years and Theatre colleague Julie Shiret in the JPUH Choir of which they are both extremely proud.

Professionally trained in speech and drama she, together with her late partner Mags, founded the original "Dusmagrik Young People's Theatre Company" in 1981. Many have benefited from this amazing grounding of not just drama but teamwork and discipline forming life skills vital in today's society. Some have reached fame in The West End,  on Cruise Ships, Municipal Theatres throughout this country and abroad or formed their own drama, choirs and dance companies.

Upon Dusty's retirement Mary Carter kindly and professionally took over the reigns. Dusty attends every production where she is now lovingly greeted by her ex students enthusiastically presenting offspring following the tradition.

Today's cast includes several folk who first began with Dusty when very young performing alongside other friends all eager to ensure this special production is certainly one to remember as we Celebrate her "90 Glorious Years".

Children's 'Under The Sea' Cupcake Decorating Workshop

The nation’s favourite sitcom returns! The boys are delighted to head to the Gorleston Pavilion Theatre with three new episodes. Two actors, two microphones, over twenty-five characters - and lots of sound effects! Dad’s Army Radio Show bring’s Perry and Croft’s classic BBC comedy to life in this highly acclaimed stage production. Three episodes of the popular sitcom - adapted for radio for the very first time - are hilariously and lovingly enacted on stage by two master performers - complete with sound effects, vintage music and all your favourite Perry and Croft characters and catchphrases. This show had an amazing impact at The Pavilion in 2024 and we are proud to have the Seriously Collins show back for 2024. Led by a charismatic frontman with stunning vocals, Seriously Phil Collins has amazed audiences worldwide! Chris was the front man for the award winning Phil Collins Tribute Band at the 2016 National Tribute Awards. Featuring highly experienced professional musicians, Seriously Phil Collins is the ultimate tribute. This lively non stop show guarantees you a truly amazing experience both musically and visually. The band performs some of Phil Collins' biggest hits such as In The Air Tonight, Sussudio, You Can’t Hurry Love, the very memorable Easy Lover and many many more. They also feature the top hits from Genesis, from Invisible Touch, Land of Confusion, In Too Deep and Turn It On Again. Review A s the audience settled down for the start of the show, onto stage came Chris Hayward. The front man settled down behind one of two drum kits and launched into a solo…  When Hayward began to sing, his resemblance to the soulful Collins vocals was uncanny. I closed my eyes; it sounded exactly like him. The highlight of the set for me was the seminal 'In the Air Tonight'. When Hayward moved to the drums to play that famous 'da-dum da-dum da-dum da-dum dum dum!' the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. After the set came to a close with 'Take Me Home', the audience rose to give a standing ovation. Talking to people on the way out, the verdict was unanimously positive. Hayward is vocally as close to the real thing as you can possibly get.

Sea Glass Art Workshop & Afternoon Tea

CELEBRATING FOUR DECADES OF STATUS QUO, THE UK's LONGEST RUNNING QUO TRIBUTE ACT - COUNTERFEIT QUO Counterfeit Quo formed in Essex in early 1995 by four hardened Quo fans who set out to recreate the dynamic Quo performances of old. The band’s reputation spread rapidly and they have now toured every region of the UK, ventured into Europe and featured on local and national BBC Radio. An adrenaline charged set crashes its way through many of Quo's 22 top ten chart hits including In The Army, Down Down, Whatever You Want and Rocking All Over The World, whilst still paying tribute to glorious earlier albums like Pile Driver, Hello and 'Quo'. So what you get is h eads down, no-nonsense boogie played on the familiar beaten up green and white Telecasters by the denim clad likenesses of Status Quo. Come and meet the Puppets
Dayglo Indydarc is an ultraviolet show for all ages and features over 50 puppets that range from 2ft to 10ft in size.
The characters and props are hand made by the puppeteers and are designed of the most vibrant fluorescent colours to make the puppets glow in the dark and come to life on stage.
This 40 minute show is performed at a fast pace to non stop  music tracks and makes for a visual extravaganza that you will remember for years to come.
