DESCRIPTION:Alan Fletcher has worked as an actor and musician for more tha
 n 45 years in Australia\nand the United Kingdom. As an actor\, Alan is a h
 ousehold name because of his portrayal of Dr Karl Kennedy for\n30 years on
  the iconic Australian drama Neighbours.\nAs a\nmusician\, Alan has perfor
 med as a front man for rock band Waiting Room that\nplayed a weekly reside
 ncy in Melbourne for twelve years and toured the UK ten times\nover eight 
 years. In 2020 Alan moved away from Rock and commenced a solo career in Am
 ericana/ A\nlt\n-\nCountry and Folk. Collaborating with producers Lachlan 
 Bryan and Damian Cafarella\nAlan’s releases include the EP ‘Dispatches
  in 2023\, an album ‘The Point’ in 2024 and his\nlatest album ‘Back 
 to School’ in\nFebruary 2026\n. Alan\nalso\nreleased a Country\nMusic du
 et entitled TELL ‘EM with his partner of 35 years\nand fellow band mate 
 Jennifer Hansen. In Summer 2024 Alan toured the UK with a full band\, play
 ing 20 sell\n-\nout dates in venues\nthe length and breadth of the country
 \, including a performance at the pr\nestigious\nKendal Calling Festival i
 n Lowther.\nIn 2025 Alan’s band played 34 dates throughout the\nUK and I
 reland playing to thousands of enthusiastic supporters and Americana music
 \nfans.
