Trustee Runs London Marathon For Restoration
Theatre Trustee Alex Youngs is running the 2019 London Marathon in the hopes of raising thousands for the Pavilion's 125 Restoration project.
As part of the project, the theatre's toilets are getting a revamp and Alex has signed himself up to the London Marathon to help kickstart the fundraising and to prove that literally anything is possible.
As a self-confessed non-runner, Alex is currently in training and will be tackling the 26.2 mile route on Sunday 28th April.
He has set himself a target of £5,000 to go directly towards the toilet upgrade as the project is likely to cost upwards of £30,000 to complete.
I am equally as thrilled and terrified to be doing my bit for the upgrade of the toilets, it's long overdue and will make a huge difference to the comfort of our audiences.
So please, put the 28th April into your diaries to catch a glimpse of our Alex shuffling round London on TV, and if you're able to, please donate to Alex's fundraising page.
