Danny Boyle became a patron of the Pavilion

During the filming of Yesterday, the Pavilion supported the production and its illuminated frontage appeared in the opening sequence. Across the road, more than 6,000 local people gathered for the film's landmark beach concert.

Danny Boyle also visited the Pavilion and became a patron of the theatre. In this short clip, filmed inside our auditorium, he talks about the 'amazing space' of the Pavilion.
