Performing arts classes in drama, singing and musical theatre for young people aged 4–18 at the Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston.
A place to learn, perform and belong
Weekly performing arts training for young people aged 4–18, led by qualified teachers and creative-industry professionals.
Pavilion Players Stage School brings drama, singing and musical theatre together under one roof. Students build practical skills, confidence and friendships in age-appropriate classes at the Pavilion Theatre.
Alongside weekly training, students can take part in showcases, holiday workshops and full productions, learning how ideas move from the rehearsal room to the stage.

Juniors

Drama
Character, storytelling, improvisation, script work and ensemble acting.

Our history and purpose
Stage School is part of the Pavilion’s wider commitment to help local people build skills and find routes into the arts.
Gorleston Pavilion Trust was founded to protect the future of the historic Pavilion Theatre. After taking over management of the venue, the Trust expanded its work as a cultural centre for the local community.
Pavilion Players already brought adults together to stage productions. Stage School extends that family to younger performers, creating a route from a first class through to ambitious staged shows and the wider creative industries.
Students learn from teachers and industry professionals, discover the many roles involved in theatre, and develop skills they can carry into the creative industries and beyond.
