The Pavilion is easy to find in Gorleston as we're situated right next to the beach in the harbour's mouth. Here's how to find us no matter how you're travelling.
If you're driving to the theatre, the easiest way to find us is to use sat-nav with the postcode NR31 6PP. There is plenty of free parking directly outside the theatre and a pay-to-park site next to the Pier Hotel opposite.
Whether you're coming from Norwich or Lowestoft, follow the A47 until you see signs for Gorleston Town Centre & The Beach and continue to follow signs for The Beach until you reach us.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT follow any signs to Cliffs as you'll be able to see us from the clifftop but not get down to us in a car!
Great Yarmouth is our nearest station, which is served by one train per hour from Norwich station. Greater Anglia are the local train operators and you can find details of the live departures board for Great Yarmouth here.
Once you have arrived in Yarmouth, the best way to get over to us is to pick up a taxi from the rank or have one pre-arranged to pick you up (see below).
Albies Taxies are the largest taxi company in the area and now have a mobile app that makes it easy to request a ride and pay using your card.
You can expect to pay roughly £10 for a journey from Great Yarmouth train station over to the Pavilion in Gorleston and the journey takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
IMPORTANT: If you require a taxi to pick you up after a show at the theatre, please ensure you book this well in advance as taxis do get busy later on in the evening and waiting times can often be up to an hour.
