Protect our theatre
Help maintain and restore a rare historic seaside venue at the heart of Gorleston.

125 years · one sky-high challenge · September 2026
This September, volunteer Jo is taking fundraising to new heights to help protect the Pavilion for generations to come.
As the Gorleston Pavilion celebrates its 125th anniversary, dedicated volunteer Jo is taking fundraising to new heights with a wing-walking challenge to raise vital funds for our historic venue’s restoration.
Jo’s inspiration reaches back to the dazzling Cadbury “Crunchie Flying Circus” she remembers from childhood. She has also been inspired by Harry Heasman, the 98-year-old war veteran and wing-walking world-record holder who proved that courage and a sense of adventure have no age limit.
Now Jo is turning that inspiration into action. By standing on the wing of a plane in flight, she hopes to rally our community around the on-going preservation of the theatre and the people and programmes that bring it to life.
Every donation helps give our historic theatre a future as remarkable as its past.
