Luke's 125K challenge for the Pavilion
Luke marked the Pavilion's 125th anniversary by running 125 kilometres to support the future of our historic theatre.
125 kilometres for 125 years
To honour the Pavilion's 125th anniversary, General Manager Luke Thompson took on a personal challenge: running 125 kilometres in a series of 5K stages for the theatre's anniversary fundraiser.
Each run helped draw attention to the work required to protect our historic seaside theatre, sustain live performance and keep opportunities open to young people and the wider community.
The fundraiser has now concluded, but Luke's challenge remains part of the Pavilion's 125th anniversary story and the remarkable effort made by staff, volunteers and supporters throughout the year.
