We’re thrilled to announce that Gorleston Pavilion Trust has received a major £18,000 grant from The National Lottery Community Fund to support the continued growth of our Community Hub.

This funding will help us build on the great work that our team of volunteers and staff have put in over the last year, taking the project from an initial warm hub space to our flourishing community hub.
Lots of people already attend our free weekly sessions and we encourage more people to come along, from bereavement cafés and creative writing to art, knitting and script reading - there are always friendly faces within the groups.
Over the next eight months, we’ll be using the grant to bring in a dedicated member of staff, improve our marketing, and invest in the space to make it even more welcoming. Our aim is to secure the Hub's future and keep it open to all. We want our theatre to be a place where creativity and connection go hand in hand.
Alex Youngs, Chief Executive of Gorleston Pavilion Trust, said:
"This grant allows us to focus on building something lasting. The Hub has already shown the power of culture to bring people together. Now we have the chance to give it a stronger foundation and wider reach. We’re grateful to National Lottery players for helping make that possible."
If you’d like to be part of it, we’d love to hear from you. You can volunteer at pavtheatre.com/volunteer, email us, or just pop in and say hello at one of the sessions.
Huge thanks to National Lottery players for making this possible and to our community for making the Pavilion what it is.
We're a small team doing big things. With your help, we can do even more. ›
