A much-loved local ladies choir has raised £400 in support of the Gorleston Pavilion Trust with a special concert and raffle held at the Bradwell Methodist Church.
Alex Youngs, Pat Andrews and the ladies of the Prelude Choir
The event, Prelude Sings for the Pavilion, saw the talented members of Prelude perform an uplifting programme of songs from across the genres, from show tunes and pop favourites to classical harmonies, to a warmly appreciative audience.
Chief Executive of the Gorleston Pavilion Trust, Alex Youngs, attended the concert and praised the performers and organisers: “It was a wonderful afternoon, full of joy and generosity,” he said. “Prelude brought real heart to their stage and we’re incredibly grateful for their support.”
All funds raised will support the charitable work of the Gorleston Pavilion Trust, which looks after the historic Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston and runs a wide range of community and arts programmes.
