Spamalot is a musical comedy based on Monty Python and the Holy Grail, featuring a revue-style format with sketch-like scenes and musical numbers. It's absurd, self-aware, satirical and loaded with panto-style humour.
Winner of Best Musical at the 2005 Tony Awards and 2024 nominee again, Spamalot offers a madcap retelling of the Arthurian legend. Expect knights, killer rabbits, cows, showgirls and French people.
King Arthur, aided by his loyal servant Patsy, sets out to form the Knights of the Round Table and find the Holy Grail. Along the way, they encounter a bizarre mix of characters including the Black Knight, Tim the Enchanter, the Knights Who Say Ni and more.
