VE Day 80 at the Gorleston Pavilion Theatre

Hosted by the ever-charismatic Olly Day, this unforgettable night will bring together stirring performances, uplifting songs, and moments of reflection, capturing the spirit of a generation who fought for peace. Featuring the sensational Knightingales vocal trio, the rousing sounds of the Great Yarmouth Brass Band, and dazzling performances from our very own Pavilion Players Stage School and Summer Showtime cast, the evening promises a mix of laughter, nostalgia, and heartfelt tributes. 

Created in association with Bruno Peek, CVO OBE OPR, Pageantmaster of VE Day 80, this unique VE Day show is leading our Nation's theatres in the national celebrations/commemorations on this unforgettable anniversary on the 8th May, and will include the lighting of the Lamp Light of Peace at 9.30pm - a powerful symbol of remembrance and hope - and the singing of the hymn "I Vow to Thee My Country".
