The Pavilion is not currently licensed to conduct legal marriage ceremonies, although we are in the process of applying for a wedding licence. You can complete the legal ceremony at a register office or another licensed venue, then hold a personal celebrant-led ceremony and your reception on the Pavilion’s iconic stage.

The Pavilion can accommodate up to 150 guests for both a celebrant-led ceremony and your reception.

Yes. Full-day hire includes exclusive use of the auditorium and theatre bar from 9am until midnight.

Yes. An additional setup day is available for £400, giving you access from 2pm to 6pm on the day before your wedding.

Yes. A bridal preparation room suitable for a party of up to 15 is available for £250.

The Pavilion Theatre is on the seafront at Pier Gardens in Gorleston-on-Sea, near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The Bandstand, gardens and beach are immediately nearby for wedding photographs.
