Booking Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you book with the Pavilion.

Customer terms

Please read these terms before booking. They explain when your contract is formed and what happens if plans or performances change.

Last reviewed: 19 July 2026

1. Who you are booking with

These terms apply to tickets and related products sold by Gorleston Pavilion Theatre Ltd, company number 15213070, whose registered office is Pavilion Theatre, Pier Gardens, Gorleston, Norfolk NR31 6PP. Ticketsolve provides our online ticketing platform.

A contract is formed when we accept payment and send a booking confirmation. Please contact the Box Office promptly if the confirmation is incorrect.

2. Prices, fees and payment

Prices and available concessions are shown before purchase. A £3 booking fee is added once per online or telephone card transaction, regardless of the number of tickets, unless the booking journey says otherwise. Any optional product or donation is shown separately.

Payment must be authorised before a booking is confirmed. Reserved tickets may be released if they are not paid for by the stated deadline. We may correct an obvious pricing error before accepting a booking and will offer a refund if payment was already taken.

3. Tickets and admission

Tickets are normally delivered electronically and may be scanned from a phone. Contact the Box Office if you need a printed ticket. You are responsible for checking the performance, date, time, venue and seats before purchase and for keeping the ticket secure.

We may refuse admission or require a person to leave where reasonably necessary for safety, unlawful behaviour, serious disruption, abuse of staff or volunteers, breach of venue rules, or an invalid or duplicated ticket. No refund is due where exclusion results from that person’s conduct.

Late admission is not guaranteed and may be delayed until a suitable point in the performance. Age guidance and any requirement for an accompanying adult are shown with the event where applicable.

4. Changes, postponements and cancellations

Cast, programme, running time and other production details may change. If we cancel a performance, or make a material change such as changing its date or venue, we will offer the options reasonably available, normally including a transfer, credit or refund of the affected ticket price and compulsory booking fee.

We are not responsible for reasonable travel, accommodation or other consequential costs. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Refunds, exchanges and resale

Except where a performance is cancelled or materially changed, or where your statutory rights apply, tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once purchased. The statutory cooling-off period for many online purchases does not normally apply to leisure services supplied on a specific date.

Tickets must not be resold for commercial gain. We may cancel a ticket offered through an unauthorised resale channel. Optional ticket protection is governed by the protection provider’s own terms and any claim must be made to that provider.

Refunds that are due are normally returned to the original payment method. These terms do not affect your rights under consumer law.

6. Access requirements and essential companions

Please tell the Box Office about access requirements as early as possible. We will make reasonable adjustments and help identify suitable seats, but arrangements depend on the venue, production and information available. See our accessibility information.

7. Gift vouchers and account credit

A voucher or credit is subject to the validity period and any restrictions shown when issued. It has no cash value, cannot normally be exchanged for cash and must be kept secure. Lost or stolen codes can only be replaced where we can identify and cancel the original.

Buying a voucher is separate from booking a performance; availability and prices are not guaranteed until tickets are booked.

8. Personal information

Our privacy notice explains how we use booking and customer information. Our cookie notice covers the online booking journey and optional website technologies.

9. Contact and complaints

Contact the Box Office on 01493 662832 or boxoffice@pavtheatre.com. Our complaints policy explains how unresolved concerns are handled. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
